TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL SHOW:

• Plan Ahead And Know What You Want To Achieve

a. Are you introducing a new business?

b. Are you launching a new product or service?

c. Are you looking to expand your client base?

• Use Plenty of Signage

a. Display your company name and the type of business you are engaged in.

b. Use colorful table throws with you company name on the front.

c. Use retractable banners with information to generate interest.

• Have A Knowledgeable And Friendly Team In Your Booth

a. Everyone in your booth should be attentive, friendly and have the ability to answer any questions about your products or services.

b. There should be at least two people in the booth so that you can take breaks without leaving the booth unattended.

c. Don't forget to collect business cards from attendees.

• Give Away Practical Promotional Items

a. Pens, post-it-notes, tote bags and memo pads, are some items that are most appreciated and are kept for long periods of time.

• Follow Up After The Event

a. Create a data base with the business cards you have collected.

b. Contact potential customers and thank them for visiting your booth.

c. Send out additional information about your company and perhaps offer a trade show discount.
